Your account credentials are stored securely on your device using the platform's secure storage (expo-secure-store / iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Account and transaction data is stored on a hosted backend server. We use HTTPS for all data in transit between the App and the server.

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data, but no system is completely immune to security risks.

The App requests access to your device's photo library to allow you to upload images of scrap items. You will be prompted to grant this permission; the App does not access your photos without your explicit consent. Photos you upload are transmitted to the server and stored for the purpose of the pickup request.
